WITHOUT ANEMIA, WE GROW MORE

On Friday, November 8th, we held a free anemia screening campaign as part of our “Sin Anemia, Crecemos Más” program. This activity was carried out within the initiatives of XynergICA, a non-profit association to which we belong, alongside other agro-exporting companies, with the aim of proactively contributing to the sustainable development of Ica.

During the campaign, EsSalud specialists offered educational talks to families about the importance of a balanced diet and shared practical recipes to improve nutrition at home. With this information, families now have useful tools to prepare healthy meals that will help prevent anemia.

We conducted anemia screenings for a total of 200 children from the educational institutions “Integrada N° 22485 Coronel Francisco Bolognesi Cervantes” and “N° 78 Virgen de Fátima” in the Center of Population Yaurilla, district of Los Aquijes – Ica, and also extended the invitation to all children in the district. This initiative allowed many families to receive guidance and free medical attention, helping them understand their children’s health status and take measures for their proper development.
